    Some of these are good examples of using trite, expected imagery (a camera for a photo-related logo) in a new way. I particularly like the 5th one for its stylization and typography

    I agree. You would think that an ‘expected image’ like a camera would be boring, predictable and cliched.

    It is surprising though how designers can play around with the shape of a camera and come up with something that is really unique, stylish and exciting to look at.

    Excellent logos. Very minimalist. Henrik Kreilisheim is my favorite. Clean look with a twist.
