Wonderful animal logo set! Thanks for posting them. I agree that the use of an animal in a brand trademark can make it more memorable and fun.

Monkeys and birds seem to be the top animals in this group. For businesses desiring a more serious feel bulls, rams, and horses seem to be popular in logo designs.

You know it’s a good logo when your first impulse is to search for the company to find out more about them. A couple of these made me want to do that–Elephruit, Octopress, and Plastic Whale especially. Thanks for posting!

I love this collection. I am doing my thesis on animals in graphic design. If anyone could comment on these questions that would be amazing. Thanks!

Would you be more attracted to buy from a company that had an animal logo? Why?

And do you prefer it when animals display human qualities (such as rebel monkey above) or when they are depicted more in their true form?

    Hi Candice,
I hope this helps your thesis:
    1. I wouldn’t feel more attracted to buy from a company with an animal logo as the product would be the main reason I buy it.
    2. I prefer animals depicted in their true form as they appear more sophisitcated compared to an animal with hum,an traits as that is more comical, but it all depends on the message the company wants to portray.
