This is MAGIC, incredible simply and effective. I would NOTHING change on this. There is absolutely no problem with reading 5 LOCKS. Great work on this Dalius.

Thanks guys a lot for the feedback here!

Tiago, Michael > yes I've tried your suggestions, but there is a problem. The kerning here is very tight so the coloured '5' goes over or under the 'C' and the image looks worse then. Another way would be to loosen up the kerning a bit, but then the whole effect of the design fades. Thanks for the constructive feedback though! Great points there.

Jelani > thank you! It was purely inspirational.

Thanks everyone else for good rates, cheers!

I disagree. Reading it i saw the 5 straight away and instantly saw the locks! I think its amazing and well thought out. Was this a brief? Or just a logo created?

Agreed, this is very clever. I noticed the interplay between the O and the C...kind of like a lock actually locking. But I had no idea the company name was "5 Locks" until I saw it elsewhere. To make this a home run, I'd also suggest changing the color of the "5" so that it stands out...I think that way, people would recognize the 5 without being told that it's there.

Really clever! I like the concept and everything else, though the first time I looked at it I just read "Locks". I realized it was "5 Locks" after looking at the text in the bottom.

A suggestion would be changing the color of the first two letters, L and O, or the last 3, CKS. This way I believe people wouldn't get confused so easily, if you see what I mean. :)
