    would’ve maybe rather seen the giraffe head at the end of the long neck of a guitar, since guitars actually employ that metaphor and musical notes do not.

    @theo: I did think of using the neck of a guitar (I play guitar and that was the first instinct I had), but decided to be more unique/quirky. Plus, the music note element is universal to all musical instruments unlike the neck of a guitar.
